About North Fort Myers Mobile Home Leveling

North Fort Myers Mobile Home Leveling relevels mobile and manufactured homes, checks and replaces tie-downs, and repairs vapor barriers and skirting in North Fort Myers and the nearby parts of Lee County. When you call or send the form, we look at your home, survey the frame and give you a written price before any work starts. The agreement for the job is between you and us, in writing.

What to ask us, or anyone, before work starts

Florida law requires anyone who installs a mobile or manufactured home to hold a mobile home installer licence issued by FLHSMV. Getting one involves an 8-hour course, an exam, a bond and liability insurance, and installing without one is a first-degree misdemeanour. Do not take a website’s word for it, ours included: ask for the licence number and look it up yourself before work starts.

A few other things worth asking:

  • Does this job need a Lee County Manufactured/Mobile Home/RV permit? The county lists new installs, replacements and tie downs. If you apply for a tie-down permit yourself, the county asks for an affidavit naming the installer.
  • What anchors will be used? Florida Rule 15C-1 calls for approved galvanised auger anchors set for the soil class, and coral anchors do not meet Wind Zone II or III. Lee County is Wind Zone III.
  • Is my home in a FEMA flood zone? Much of North Fort Myers is, especially near the river and creeks, and it varies from park to park.

What we will not do

  • We will not post invented reviews or job stories.
  • We will not promise an arrival time, or a firm price before we have seen the home.
  • We will not tell you over the phone that a home is safe or unsafe. That call gets made under the home, after the survey.

Why North Fort Myers

About half of all homes in North Fort Myers are mobile homes (13,967 of 28,644 in the 2023 American Community Survey), which is about a third of Lee County’s mobile homes. The ground is mostly poorly drained flatwood sand with a high water table, and the area has taken Ian in 2022 and an EF2 tornado during Milton in 2024. Leveling and tie-down work matter here, and we would rather owners see our numbers and our process up front than guess at them.

Typical prices

Our pricing page lists typical ranges for releveling, piers, anchors, vapor barriers and skirting. Your own number comes in a written quote once we have surveyed the home.
